Focus

The exercise for this week in Living The Master Key System is, in short, to Focus. In a society that promotes multitasking and bombards us with continual stimuli, we have lost the art of focus. Many who have learned and believe in manifesting their reality continue to be challenged to bear fruit simply because of focus.

Consider this, if I say I desire a specific thing and yet allow my mind to be scattered, how exactly do I expect to work in concert with the Universe to manifest this thing I desire? Whereas one need not continually focus, one will benefit from time set aside to focus. As with vision boards, allowing all of the senses to participate in the time of focus creates a stronger frequency with which to co-create the manifestation.

Experiences are the result of our predominate mental attitude. Therefore, taking time regularly to focus will lend power to the process. Including daily affirmations which relate to what we intend to manifest is yet another tool which aids the process.

For this exercise: Place yourself in a quiet space where you can be undisturbed. Focus on your breath and allow your thoughts to travel outside the space you are in. Bring your focus to the one thing you choose. Concentrate on it until there are no thoughts of anything else. Allow your senses to participate such that you experience that which you are concentrating on. Remain here for a time and then return to your day.

Good & Evil

This week in The Master Key System there was a statement that brought clarity to my understanding of good and evil. It was such an elegant and succinct explanation that I wanted to share it with you.

Part 19: Number 8

In the Moral World we again find the same law; we speak of good and evil, but Good is a reality, something tangible, while Evil is found to be simply a negative condition, the absence of Good. Evil is sometimes thought to be a very real condition, but it has no principle, no vitality, no life; we know this because it can always be destroyed by Good; just as Truth destroys Error and Light destroys Darkness, so Evil vanishes when Good appears; there is therefore but one principle in the Moral World.

DIY Sun Care Spray

Soothing Sun Spray

8 oz Witch Hazel (I use Thayers brand)
13 drops Lavender essential oil
or 7 drops Orange essential oil (for those who don’t do Lavender)

Use a clean and sterile spray bottle to mix your Sun Spray in. Mix and enjoy! For a Cooling Spray add 1 drop of Peppermint essential oil. This is awesome for “power surges” a.k.a hot flashes or any time you want to cool down. Be sure to NOT spray this mixture into your eyes!

DIY Sun Care Cream

 Soothing After-Sun Cream

4 oz coconut oil (for external use)
7 drops Lavender essential oil
or 7 drops Orange essential oil (for those who don’t do Lavender)

I bought two jars of coconut oil and used one to mix my After-Sun Cream in and the other to mix an Energy Balancing blend that I love to keep on hand. Coconut oil can be a hard cream, soft cream, or oil texture depending on the temperature you store it at. Whatever your temperature choice, be consistent for a happier oil.

The Power of Gratitude

The Power of Gratitude

reminded of
the power of gratitude
I set down
to write it all out
all for which I was grateful
this wouldn’t take long
so I thought
funny thing with gratitude
once you start
just where do you stop?
one thought of gratitude
leads to another
and that one to another yet
until all the pages
with gratitude are filled
which to me is amazing
considering
that when I began
I was in a dark place
saw nothing to be happy about
now all I see are my infinite blessings
did I mention
gratitude is powerful stuff!
when you catch it
there really are no limits
and that is
the power of gratitude

Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral Therapy

by Regina Ann

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) was pioneered by Osteopathic Physician John E. Upledger. During a neck surgery he was assisting with in 1970, Upledger first observed the rhythmic movement of the craniosacral system. Since none of his texts or colleagues could explain what he had observed, he began searching for answers. He began with the research of Dr. William Sutherland, the father of cranial osteopathy, beginning in the early 1900s. From 1975 to 1983 Upledger served as a clinical researcher to scientifically confirm the existence of cranial bone motion and the mechanism of the craniosacral system. His work ultimately resulted in the development of Craniosacral Therapy.

Craniosacral Therapy is a complimentary medicine that is increasingly being used as a tool for preventative treatment for optimal health due to its ability to bolster resistance to disease and its effective use for a wide range of medical conditions associated with pain and dysfunction.  CST is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the craniosacral system. Practitioners apply a soft touch, generally no greater than the weight of a nickel, to specific areas of the body allowing the release of tensions deep in the body.

Craniosacral Therapy has the ability to affect a diverse range of conditions due to the fact that it works directly within the craniosacral system. The craniosacral system heavily influences the membranes and fluid that surround, protect and nourish the brain, spinal cord and therefore, central nervous system.

Stress of everyday life may often cause body tissues to tighten and distort the craniosacral system. These subsequent distortions can cause tension to form around the brain and spinal cord resulting in restrictions. This cascade of effects can potentially result in the reduced performance of the central nervous system and every system it interacts with.

Through Craniosacral Therapy, the practitioner detects such restrictions and through the soft-touch technique these restrictions may be released in tissues influencing the craniosacral system. With the restrictions released, the body’s system can then return to a normal state enhancing the ability to restore itself to health.

Some of the conditions known to benefit from CST include:

  • Migraines and Headaches
  • Chronic Neck Pain
  • Chronic Back Pain
  • Autism
  • Stress and Tension Related Disorders
  • Motor Coordination Impairments
  • Infant and Childhood Disorders
  • Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries
  • Chronic Fatigue
  • Fibromyalgia
  • TMJ Syndrome
  • Scoliosis
  • Central Nervous System Disorders
  • Learning Disabilities
  • ADD/ADHD
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Orthopedic Problems
  • And Many Other Conditions
There are conditions where CST is contraindicated. These include aneurysm, cerebral hemorrhage or other pre-existing bleeding disorders. Be certain to talk to your medical professional if you have any condition of concern before having CST.

Since I began offering Craniosacral Therapy it has rapidly become a client favorite. Not only have I been blessed to witness amazing results for my clients but I and my family have enjoyed our own benefits from CST. My husband’s neck pain and sinus condition saw improvement, migraine pain is gone, my TMJ never felt such relief, my Fibromyalgia client is happy, my client with Scoliosis is able to stand evenly for the first time in 60+ years.

As with any complimentary medicine, make sure you work with the right practitioner. Seek out someone who resonates with you and you feel comfortable with. If you are not comfortable, you will not have optimal results. Be certain to tell your practitioner if you are on medication or seeing a medical professional for any reason. A good practitioner wants to know and is willing to work with your physician for your health and wellness.  Craniosacral Therapy is yet another tool offered to assist in your health and well being. Equip yourself as is best for you.

Wishing you Health & Well Being
