Healing Affirmations

I created this using some affirmations of Louise Hays that spoke to my healing needs. For the time I needed it most I set it as the background on my phone and computer so that I was receiving the message of these healing affirmations often.

Powerful Peppermint

I have always enjoyed peppermint but when I learned through brain research how powerful peppermint is I was impressed.  It was while writing a federal grant for education that I found research that showed peppermint increased the firing of the synapses in the brain. The research went on to share results of the increase in test scores when students were given peppermint.

Peppermint is one of our staple essential oils. Here is a few of the ways we use our peppermint oil:

~ For upset stomach we take a couple drops directly on our tongue or add it to some warm tea.
~ For headache we massage a drop of peppermint onto our temples and base of skull.
~ For fatigue or congestion we inhale the peppermint oil from the bottle or diffuse it into the air.

Did You Know....

*Peppermint is a hybrid of the wintergreen and spearmint plants (two of my favorites)
*Menthol is peppermint's primary active component

**Caution: skin sensitivity may be an issue for some
